Position Overview:

The Director of Talent Acquisition will be a key member of our leadership team, responsible for developing and executing strategies to attract, recruit, and retain top talent. This role is essential in ensuring that we have the skilled and dedicated workforce needed to achieve our organizational goals and drive community impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Recruitment Leadership:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that aligns with the organization’s mission and goals.
    • Lead the design and execution of innovative recruitment campaigns to attract top talent across various channels.
    • Collaborate with the executive team to forecast membership needs and develop proactive recruiting plans.
  2. Candidate Sourcing and Pipeline Development:
    • Identify and utilize multiple sourcing channels to build a robust talent pipeline, including social media, job boards, networking events, and partnerships with universities and community organizations.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with potential candidates and industry professionals to ensure a steady flow of qualified applicants.
    • Leverage data and analytics to continuously improve sourcing strategies and outcomes.
  3. Recruitment Process Management:
    • Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, from membership posting and applicant screening to interviewing and onboarding.
    • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, reflecting the organization’s values and culture.
    • Implement and manage an applicant tracking system (ATS) to streamline recruitment operations and reporting.
  4. Team Leadership and Development:
    • Lead and mentor a team of recruitment professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve recruitment goals.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the talent acquisition team.
    • Ensure team members have the resources and training needed to succeed in their roles.
  5. Organization Branding:
    • Develop and promote a compelling organization brand that attracts top talent and reflects the organization’s mission and values.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and distribute employer branding content across various platforms.
    • Represent the organization at career fairs, conferences, and other recruitment events.
  6. Partnerships and Collaboration:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with external recruitment agencies, educational institutions, and community organizations.
    • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand hiring needs and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.

Qualifications:

  • Some experience or strong interest in talent acquisition or recruitment, with at leadership experience.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful talent acquisition strategies.
  • Strong understanding or interest in recruitment best practices, tools, and technologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
